Spotify wants to become the home for AI-generated personal audio

Spotify launched a beta CLI tool that lets users create AI-generated personal podcasts using coding agents like OpenAI’s Codex, Anthropic’s Claude Code, or OpenClaw.

Users describe what they want their podcast to focus on, then ask the agent to generate it and save to Spotify. The podcasts appear in the user’s library for easy access but aren’t available to other Spotify users.

Spotify also announced its AI DJ now supports French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese, expanding to Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland, and other markets.
